NHRCK Chairperson Visits Training Site of School Sports Team to Monitor Human Rights Situation in Sports
On August 6, Chairperson Young-ae Choi of the National Human Rights Commission of Korea (NHRCK) met with basketball team members of Soongeui Girls’ Middle School, where the on-site investigation is underway.
NHRCK is undertaking on-site visits to training sites to investigate in detail human rights awareness of athletes and coaches, training environments and any human rights violations that may have occurred.
